Day one

Arrival at Banjul international airport transfer to Bamboo Garden Hotel upon arrival at the hotel you checked in.If time allow us we have short drive to kotu to have few photos of kingfishers and heron before Dark we drive back to the hotel prepare for dinner at 8pm

Day two

Early pick up from the hotel at 5:00am drive to Banjul so that we can join the first ferry to crossing to north bank.After crossing we have our breakfast at Barra which is already been set.After having breakfast we drive to the boarder.upon arrival at the boarder we’ll present our passport and yellow fever vaccination cards for stamp before getting into Senegal.After checking we drive to north of Senegal with lots of  stops at  most birding hotspots before reach to our accommodation in Kerr saloum hotel in Toubakouta village in the north of Senegal.upon arrival at the hotel checked in, prepare for lunch at 1pm.After lunch at 2:30 pm drive to Njiafiate at the  swallowtail kites roasting site where we going to take a small canoe  to the island,after crossing it will take us small walking distance before to roasting sites for the kites, where we going to see thousands of kites perching on trees with lesser kestrel along.7pm drive back to hotel.

Day three

Breakfast follow by a boat trip at Delta the saloum in in Toubakouta village.were we going to pick the boat right at the Jetty of the hotel.Expected birds are Goliath heron,purple heron,Ospreys,terns,gulls,kingfishers,sacred ibis,black kites and sometime there chance of seening elusive white crested tiger heron which is hard to see.After the boat trip we will set our bags join our car start driving back to the Gambia through north bank road with lots of stop at most birding hotspots and night stop at Morgan kunda lodge which is basic electricity,proper running water and bar and restaurant.

Day Four

After breakfast in Morgan kunda drive to Conteh kunda woods for the morning session then back to the camp at 1pm for lunch and bit of relax while at the lodge you will see few birds feeding on flowers before lunch.4pm we drive to Jajari woods were we going to complete the rest of the day.And then backed to the lodge at 7pm.

   Target birds are speckle fronted weaver,chestnut crowned sparrow weaver, Rufous scrub-robin, Savil’s bustard, Walhberg eagle,Red winged pytilia, Black Simitar-bill, Northern Ant-eater-chat,White rumped see-eater,spotted thicknee, Vielliot’s barbet many more birds are expected here.

Day Five

Early breakfast at 6:45am,Today we going to have  early start through the north bank road our first stops is going to be Farafenni wetland.

Our target here are going to be black crowned crane,Wolly neck stork,Sahel paradise whydah,black bellied bustard, Savil’s bustard, White bellied bustard, raptors and water birds.stop kaur wetland, Njau water hole,and few road side stop before reaching to our accommodation at River side lodge in Bansang Town.

Day six

After breakfast drive to Bansang quarry at the red throated bee eaters colony for the morning session.1pm backed to lodge for lunch break.3pm we drive to janjanbureh for a boat trip.

  Targets are Gosling bunting,Sahel bush sparrow,cut throat-finch,Red throated Bee-eater,Little green bee-eater,Bruce’s green Pigeon,Exclamatory paradise whydah, Pin-tailed whydah, Swamp flycatcher,Black headed weaver,African fish eagle,many more birds are expected around this area.

Day Seven / WASSADOU CAMP SOUTH EAST SENEGAL

After breakfast we set our bags join our car start driving to South east Senegal to Famous Wassadou camp with lots of stops at most birding hotspots.upon arrival at the camp we checked in  prepared for a boat trip at 5pm.After boat trip we have dinner at 8pm

   Targets here are Egyptian plover,Carmine bee-eater,Red throated bee-eater,white crowned lapwinged,Grey headed kingfisher,Blue breasted kingfisher,Giant kingfisher,Malachite kingfisher,Pied kingfisher,Shining blue kingisher,African finfoot,African fish eagle,African pied wagtailed,Black crowned night heron,Adamawa turtle dove,European turtle dove,Hadada ibis,Western banded snake eagle.And also expected mammals are Red colobus monkey,Green velvet monkey,Hippos and few antilops.And also some luckily we might come across Pel’s fishing owl.

Day Eight / WASSADOU CAMP-SOUTH EAST SENEGAL

Early breakfast then drive to Niokolokoba park for few wildlife and birds for whole day.After the safari we drive back to Wassadou camp.

 Targets here are mammals,birds saddle billed stork,white throated francolin,Spur-winged goose,abyssianian ground hornbill,Martial eagles,Batelure eagle,Helmet guinea fowl,many more birds of preys are expected here,

Day Nine / KAKUBA LODGE / KUDANG

After breakfast morning boat trip to checked the one we missed in the creek before our departure to the Gambia.After the boat trip we will have two hours around the surrounding of the camp.After the walk we drive back to the Gambia with lots of stops on the road side.Night stops at Kakuba lodge in Kudang.

Day Ten / TENDABA CAMP

Breakfast 7am after breakfast we drive to kundang wetland for more water birds and woodland species.1pm we drive back to lodge and have lunch.After lunch we join our car with more stops before reaching to our accommodation at Tendaba camp.

Day Eleven / JAMORIA LODGE

After breakfast we walk to the woods of tendaba camp were we going to used a photohide upto 2pm then back to camp for lunch.After lunch we set our bags join the car start driving to Jamoria lodge with lots of stop at most birding hotspots.

Day Twelve / LAST DAY IN THE GAMBIA/BACK TO THE AIRPORT

/Before breakfast we have walk to the ricefield our targets here are Brown necked parrots,fine spotted woodpecker,golden oriole, Dwarf bittern,little bittern,long crested eagle,Greater painted snipe,Sacred ibis,grey kestrel,Red necked falcon and many more.and then back to lodge for breakfast.After breakfast we set all our bags join our car drive to the airport which is one hour drive to the airport.That’s the end of the holiday
