Unfortunately, it may happen that you have to cancel your trip unexpectedly. In this
case, we are forced to charge a cancellation fee. We also have had to incur costs, so
cancellation charges are unavoidable. Free cancellation is possible up to 7 days after
receipt of your reservation. After this period, you will not be able to reclaim your
deposit.
Flights are not included! Many tour operators offer direct flights to Gambia. Let us
know when you leave and when you return, so that we can compile your program.
It is important to contact your doctor few weeks before your trip to The Gambia. After
all, you may need some vaccinations (Hepatitis A, Yellow fever, Meningitis, Polio, Tetanus and / or Diphtheria). Taking Malaria medicines is also highly recommended.
The Hygiene cannot be compared with Europe. So take a good travel pharmacy with
you, including a remedy for Diarrhea.
Like in many places, the tap water in the Gambia is not drinkable. Therefore, be
careful and avoid ice cubes or water that does not come from a sealed bottle.
The Gambia is a former British Colony and the official language is English but there
are also several tribal languages including Mandinka and Wolof.
French is the official language of Senegal, but Wolof is country’s most widely spoken
language.

The Gambia has a sub-tropical climate and average temperatures between 29°C and
34°C. There are two seasons: a dry season from November to June, and a rainy season
from June to mid-October.

The best time to visit The Gambia is from late October to April. But also when you
want to see most birds in their breeding colours, the best time is from October to late
December. From December to April will give you the opportunity to see some of the
rear birds because at that time of the year most farmland harvested their farmland.
Then you can see some of those birds with an easy access.
When you enter Gambia or Senegal you need an International Passport. Your
passport must be valid for at least, the duration of your holiday.
The passport must contain at least one empty visa page for the customs stamp.
To enter Senegal, you need a Yellow fever vaccination card.
